Due to the dissolution of the partnership of
L. O’Neill & Sons, Kilwaughter, Larne, Co. Antrim.

Family & work commitments have forced this National performing partnership to break up, with father Liam maintaining the race team at the lofts – all other birds to be sold.

The sale will be held over a series of 5 auctions at Www.PigeonPartners.com and will consist of 2 Sprint/Middle Distance Sales, followed by 3 Distance Sales, the dates of the sales are below.

The sale offers the fancy the opportunity to purchase some of the most consistently performing long distance breeding stock in Ireland today. The O’Neills have a fantastic record of scoring in all of the Long Distance races from France over the past 8 years

“The Preece Cock” Bred by GM Preece, Grand Sire of the loft, Sire & G. Sire to top French performing birds with numerous different hens. He features with many of his sons & daughters in the sale. Highlight performances include “Houdini” 19th Open NIPA St. Malo (Also in the sale), “Vent Bones” – Kings Cup Merit Award Winner, “04” – the only bird in the Carrick Centre in the 2025 NIPA St. Malo race.
“Goliath”- Sire to many top national performers and also merit award pigeons. His daughter (“Gracie Girl” – also in the sale) was 2nd Irish section BICC Guernsey. Breeding birds which excel on hard days – from the Billy Brooks colony.
“Houdini”- 19th National NIPA and full brother to INFC Merit award hen “Vent Bones”. The future was being bred round this cock bird.
“Sunset Lady” – 3rd Open Lamballe, bred & Raced by Paul Swindell- Dam & Grand Dam to many other performing distance pigeons – Walkingshaw based.

The Sprint/Middle distance birds were attained from top performing lofts for the 2025 season, but circumstances went against the partnership and they were never flown, Birds from Geoff Dickey (Sticker Doncker / Lambrecht), Beggs & Hall – 1st Open Penzance Cock, Peter Martin (Top Van Leemputtens from his best), Herbie Thorpe (Dirk Van Den Bulck / Lambrecht based) and other Van Den Brande and National performing families of pigeons feature throughout the Sprint / Middle distance sale.

PigeonPartners.Com will manage the internet auction at their website. All birds are currently undergoing a healthy moult and are in good health. The partnership has retained the services of a courier to assist with deliveries throughout Ireland (POA) and the UK (GBP120 for up to 9 birds). All birds will be supplied with a pedigree and transfer form.
